contrPapers published in the ARGUMENTA OECONOMICA encompass the following areas of Economics and Management
• theoretical foundations
• practical evaluation of methodologies
• case studies and justification of research projects
• surveys of the state-of-the-art


The procedure of reviewing process in Argumenta Oeconomica


1. The paper is subject of initial review, where content is verified with regard to: possible scientific contribution and suitability for "Argumenta Oeconomica"
2. In case of positive result of initial review, the paper is reviewed by two referees, in the double-blind review process.
3. The referee opinion is in written form.
4. In the case of substantial changes in the revised version of the paper, the reviewing process is repeated.
5. Final decision as to the publication is made by Editorial Board.

No manuscript submitted shall have been or will be published elsewhere.
Papers should be submitted online via the Electronic System of Submitting and Reviewing Articles https://review.ue.wroc.pl/.

Submissions will not be accepted by e-mail or in hard copy.

Editors will initially screen submissions, prior to reviewing, and inform authors if the papers appear unsuitable for this journal.

 

Manuscripts in Microsoft Word should be typed on one side of the paper only, double-spaced throughout with wide margins.

Tables and Figures should be numbered consecutively and placed on separate sheets, with an indication in the text as to their appropriate placement.

The manuscript should begin with an abstract. The abstract should not contain any formulae or references. Its purpose is to summarise clearly the principal conclusions of the paper.

The paper should be subdivided into sections and subsections as necessary. Main headings (centred) should designate the major sections; side headings (underlined) should designate minor sections.

References must be listed alphabetically by the surname of the first author followed by the title, journal name, volume, pages for journal references, year; and author(s), title, and publisher for the book references, city and year.

All references should be indicated in the manuscript by the author's surname followed by the year of publication: e. g. Hellwig (1968). Where references include three or more authors, the form Hellwig et al. (1993) should be used.

Footnotes should be avoided. Parentheses should be used in their place.

No maximum length for the paper is prescribed; however authors should write concisely.

 

Because of the double-blind review process, please note that you must submit a blind copy of your manuscript.

 

Please note that, the "secretary approval" status does not occur directly after uploading the article. The article receives this status after obtaining a positive result from the peer-review process, which usually lasts from one to one and a half month.

 

We would like to inform you that as of October 1st 2015, the fees connected with submitting an article to Argumenta Oeconomica are as follows:

1. Researchers and PhD students from outside the university, but living on the Polish territory:

- 300 zł + VAT tax for submitting the article; payment is not refundable if the article will not be published,

- 800 zł + VAT tax for publishing the article; the fee is charged after the acceptance of the manuscript.

2. Researchers and PhD students not living on the Polish territory:

- 100 euro + VAT tax for submitting the article; payment is not refundable if the article will not be published,

- 200 euro + VAT tax for publishing the article; the fee is charged after the acceptance of the manuscript.

- If the author's university is the payer, the NIP code should be provided,

- If a natural person is the payer, the adress should be provided.

This follows a decision of the Rector of the University of Economics. This introduction is necessary but we have done all we can to keep the charge to a minimum.
